Acquisition Systems Associates, Inc. Welcomes Two New Colleagues

Vince Matrisciano

This Spring, Vince Matrisciano joined the ASA team as Senior Subject Matter Expert, Armaments & Munitions. He’ll be supporting our operations in New Jersey. Vince knows the territory well, having 32 years’ experience supporting Picatinny Arsenal and the Office of the Secretary of Defense. Vince is an experienced leader in product development & transition, project/portfolio management, process improvement and organizational change.

Before coming aboard at ASA, Vince was an Army civilian responsible for senior level strategy and oversight of multiple Army research projects and organizations. Most recently, Vince led a missiles and munitions supply chain assessment, including a deep dive into hypersonic missile supply chains. Already off to a strong start, Vince is already applying his project and risk management expertise leading science and technology project reviews to support efficient and effective Army rapid fielding and rapid
prototyping.

John Hedderich
This summer, John Hedderich also joined ASA as a Principal. John will be supporting technology feasibility reviews and supporting trade analyses. John will also be a key player reviewing ASA strategy, marketing, and business development. As a retired, senior Army technology executive, John will provide expert insight helping ASA develop thought leadership articles and position papers.

Prior to coming aboard, John was the Director of the U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command (CCDC) Armaments Center at Picatinny Arsenal, New Jersey. As Director, Mr. Hedderich provided strategic leadership and managerial accountability to the CCDC Armaments Center’s obligation of over $1.3 billion, 64 laboratories, and a workforce of over 4,000 government and support personnel, including engineers and technical staff dedicated in delivering superior lethal and non-lethal armament solutions to the warfighter.

Promotion
Bill Riski Promoted to Principal at Acquisition Systems Associates

Bill Riski, former Senior Associate at ASA, was promoted to Principal. As Principal, Bill develops, coordinates, and delivers ASA’s Middle Tier of Acquisition training efforts. His responsibilities also include is conducting science and technology program assessments to determine readiness to enter rapid fielding or rapid prototyping.

Prior to joining ASA, Mr. Riski worked in the Pentagon, as a Booz Allen Hamilton Associate, supporting the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense (Systems Engineering) in Acquisition, Technology, and Logistics. With over 40 years’ experience and a master’s degree in electrical engineering, Mr. Riski has worked extensively with the Joint Capabilities Integration and Development System (JCIDS) and Defense Acquisition Process. Mr. Riski has been a practicing engineer in five different program offices, both as a government employee and defense contractor, and has worked on programs providing warfighting capabilities as diverse as communications, command & control, air defense, missile defense, and space-based intelligence collection. Bill joined ASA in 2014.

George Schleh Promoted to Principal

Tysons, Virginia –Acquisition Systems Associates is pleased to announce the promotion of George Schleh to the position of Principal.  George joined ASA in November of 2014 where he previously served as Senior Associate.  

In addition to his key roles in program execution and overseeing our Human Resources to include recruiting, Mr. Schleh will continue to take on greater responsibilities in areas in finding, winning and executing new business.
