Seaport-e – Quality Assurance Program

Monitor and maximize quality

Acquisition Systems Associates’ approach to monitor and maximize quality is simple.  Follow the basic principles of ISO 9000 while not over investing in a process that increases infrastructure costs thus eroding the savings to us which we ultimately pass on to the Navy.  As discussed in our Cost Savings approach in the Cost Volume, we will only invest in a tool if and when it provides a significant savings in the short term while maintain or increasing performance.

The basic aspects of our quality program are the basics of the ISO 9000 standard:  Plan, Do, Act, Check.  These steps are performed by the PM, his staff and the quality assurance lead in the company except for activities designated for Senior Review Group participation.
